Nancy Ann Barrilleaux

December 21, 1933 - August 20, 2017

Nancy Ann Barrilleaux went to her eternal rest on Sunday August 20, 2017. She was born December 21, 1933 in Houston, Texas.

Nancy was a founding member of St. Jude Parish. Prior to her lengthy illness, she was a member of Ladies of St. Jude, a sponsor for RCIA, Eucharistic minister and taught CCD. While her children were in school, she was a PTA member and school volunteer at Amelia Elementary.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Everette Barrilleaux; children, Cathy Norris and husband, Dewayne; Charles Barrilleaux and wife, Christine; Joel Barrilleaux and wife, Mary Jane; and Brian Barrilleaux; siblings, Sister Mary Fran Serafino and Sister Charles Marie Serafino; grandchildren, Philip Barrilleaux, Peter Barrilleaux, and Anastasia Snyder.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Frances Serafino; sister, Patricia McMillin; daughter, Jeanne Barrilleaux; grandson, Jonathon Norris.

A gathering of Mrs. Barrilleaux’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. Serving as pallbearers will be: Charles Barrilleaux, Joel Barrilleaux, Brian Barrilleaux, Dewayne Norris, David Lewis, and Patrick Eason.

Nancy Ann Barrilleaux will always be missed, but never forgotten. She has fought a long hard battle in life, but has always had a smile on her face.
