Bennie Coy Pattison

December 19, 1935 - December 12, 2017

Bennie Coy Pattison, 81, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on December 19, 1935, to Hazel Carroll Pattison and Coy Pattison, in Emhouse. Bennie was on the Boys High School Class 3A State Championship Basketball Team for the South Park High Greenies in 1953; and graduated from South Park High School in 1954. Bennie was an avid golfer and was married to his beloved wife, Joyce, for fifty-five years.

Survivors include his son, Lane Pattison and his wife, Kristen, of San Antonio; brother, Wayne Pattison and his wife, Jackie, of Silsbee; one grandchild; many nieces and nephews; and his special friend from his neighborhood, Jackie Morrow.

Bennie and Joyce enjoyed a long friendship with Jackie for over five decades. Jackie’s friendship and dedication to Bennie, is greatly appreciated, as she had been there for him over these last years and was by his side at the time of his passing.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Joyce Pattison.

A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

I'm sorry to here of Ben's passing. I met him through Nader Bood on the golf course several years ago. Always a gentleman with a great sense of humor.. Ben will be missed but not forgotten.
