Bonnie LaVonne Parish

September 30, 1929 - December 16, 2017

Bonnie LaVonne Parish, 88, of Sour Lake, died Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Summer Place Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. She was born on September 30, 1929, to Willie E. Walker and H.T. Barnes, in Iraan, Texas. Bonnie was an administrative assistant for Becker Printing.

Survivors include her children, Michael Parish (Amy), of Bryan; Donald Parish, of Lufkin; and Pam Parish, of Sour Lake; grandchildren, Jason Parish (Kim), of Franklin, TN; Kristy Acevedo (Manny), of Conroe; and Donald Parish, Jr. (Tiffani), of Moss Bluff, LA; Martin Zagone, of Angleton and Michael Zagone, of Beaumont; Anna Crites and Andrew Crites, both of College Station; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Curtis Bryan Parish; brother, Darrell Barnes; daughter-in-law, Carol Parish; four granddaughters, Teresa, Erin, Karen and Susan; and grandson, Robert Bryan Parish.

A gathering of Mrs. Parish’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Broussards, with her graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m., at Fielder Cemetery, Fielder Cemetery Road, Lufkin.
