Donald Gray
Donald Ray Gray, 83, of Lumberton, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. He was born on October 2, 1934, in Perry, Oklahoma, to Mary Leta Dossett Gray and Man Gray.
He attended Santé Fe High School and was a member of the Texas National Guard. He settled in Lumberton and retired from Mobil Chemical in 1989, where he was known as “Gray Dog”.
Don enjoyed twenty-eight years of retirement with family traveling to the mountains, camping, and hunting.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-five years, Jane Lee Gray; daughter, Gina Gale Stout and her husband, Willis; sons, Terry and Donnie; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was a loving husband, father, and Paw Paw. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
A gathering of Don’s family and friends will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the family residence, 1480 West Walton Road, Lumberton, Texas.
