Stanley Maddox

August 14, 1942 - October 20, 2017

Clifford Stanley Maddox, Sr., 75, of Beaumont, died Friday, October 20, 2017, at Kindred Hospital The Greater Heights, Houston, Texas. He was born on August 14, 1942, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to Beatrice Miller and James Wyman Maddox, and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont. He retired with GCR Bickley Tire Company; most recently he was working part-time at Vidor Glass. Stanley enjoyed NASCAR, Alabama football, playing golf, and solitaire on the computer. He had made several missionary trips to Mexico to help build orphanages.

Stanley is survived by his special lady friend, Arlene Christiansen; daughters, Angel Heartfield and Stephanie Ford; step-mother, Verlie Maddox; step-brother, Gary Woods and his wife, Paulette; grandsons, Alex Heartfield and wife Taylor, and Austin Treptow; granddaughters, Sidney Maddox and Emma Maddox.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice Miller and James Maddox; and sons, Cliff Maddox, Jr. and Kevin Maddox.

A gathering of Mr. Maddox’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A private committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
