John Keith O'Connor ,a native of Amarillo, Texas, was born October 18, 1947 and had lived in the Nederland area most of his life. He was a member of the Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Nederland; he was a graduate of Nederland High School, a thirty-five year member of the Pipefitters Local #195, atended Purdue University and was a member of the Eagle Scouts. "Lil" John was a member U.S. Navy Veteran.
Survivors include his wife; Angela Marie Dorman O'Connor, son; John Shannon O'Connor and wife, Margie, all of Nederland, daughter; Vicki Renea Long and husband, Robbie of Plano, mother; Florence Evelyn McCauley O'Connor of Nederland, six grandchildren; Hannah Skye Long, Kourtney Michelle O'Connor, Britni Alexandrea Long, Christopher Mikal O'Connor, Tiffaney Amber O'Connor, John Triston Allen O'Connor, two sisters; Evelyn Elaine Wright of Nederland, Robert Lee O'Connor of Vidor, Patricia Ann Breauz of Port Neches, a brother; Larry Gene O'Connor of Nederland, mother-in-law; Josie M. Dorman, sister-in-law; Jennifer Lynn Jenkins and husband Keith, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. O'Connor was preceded in death my his father; John Tolbert O'Connor, Jr., his father -in-law; James F. Dorman and his brother-in-law; Dennis James Dorman.
