Mildred Fontenot Dailey

Mildred Fontenot Dailey, 90, of Port Acres, died on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Gulf Healthcare Center, Port Arthur. Born February 8, 1922 in Bell City, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Eva Chesson Fontenot and Arcard Fontenot. Mildred was very energetic and liked gardening and loved her flowers.
She is survived by her children, A. R. Theriot and his wife, Barbara Ann of Rosenburg; Carole Ervin of Buna; Lance Dailey, Jr. of Port Acres; and Terry Dailey and his wife, Vicky of Saratoga; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Lance Dailey, Sr.; brother, L. J. Fontenot; and grandchild, Margaret Gorgaro.
A committal for Mrs. Dailey was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
