Raymond William Blume, 52, of Crystal Beach, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. He was born on August 27, 1959, in Galveston, to Elsie Lee Bouse Blume and Carlton Edgar Blume.
Raymond was a long time resident of Crystal Beach who enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and friends. He was employed with the family business, Blume’s Seafood, for many years.
He is survived by his sister, Roxanne Smith and her husband, Morgan “Mugs” of Winnie; nephew, Carlan Smith; niece, Coleen Jennings; great-nieces, Zoe Gracia and Peyton Gracia; great-nephews, Zack Gracia and Dylan Jennings; best friend, Janet Leigh Davis; and a host of family and friends.
A gathering of Mr. Blume’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 17, 2012, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be at First Baptist Church of Crystal Beach, 1260 Highway 87 at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 18, 2012, with interment in Crystal Beach Cemetery, Crystal Beach.
