Ada Duplechin

May 23, 1932 - July 14, 2019

Ada Clark Duplechin, 87, of Nome, died Sunday, July 14, 2019, at Spindletop Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Beaumont. She was born on May 23, 1932, in Cheek, to Helen McWilliams and Grover Davis Clark. Ada worked in the cafeteria with the Beaumont Independent School District for twenty-three years.

She is survived by her daughters, Ida Lee Duplechin and Alice Patterson, both of Beaumont; sons, Stanley Duplechin and his wife, Lessie, of Nome and Bruce Duplechin and his wife, Dawn, of Beaumont; sisters, Lois Perry, of Bleakwood and Louise Swanson, of Fannett; grandchildren, Chris Cormier and his wife, Christy and Ashley Cormier, both of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Lisa Price, of China; Cody Louvier, of Vidor; and Kaitlynn Duplechin, Amanda Duplechin, and Hannah Duplechin, all of Beaumont; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ada was preceded in death by her husband, Stanislas “Stan” Duplechin.

A gathering of Mrs. Duplechin’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at China Cemetery.
