Dema Hubert

June 26, 1941 - June 2, 2018

Dema Harlene Bailey Hubert, 76, of LaBelle, died Saturday, June 2, 2018. She was born on June 26, 1941, in Nederland, to Homer Harley Bailey and Ella Inez Defee Bailey.

Dema was a dedicated member of the Altar Society and Catholic Daughters.

Survivors include her husband, John C. Hubert of LaBelle; son, John H. Hubert and his wife, Mitzie, of LaBelle; daughter, Ellie Villalobos of LaBelle; grandchildren, Dustin Hubert and his wife, Dallas; Kourtney Copeland and her husband, Toby; Desire Brandon and her husband, Jonieck; Victoria Foreman and her husband, Spencer; and Kassie Hubert and her fiancé, Trey Touchet; great-grandchildren, Hayden Pace, Maddox Brandon, Braddox Brandon, Beaux Hubert, Brody Brandon, MayLynn Lewis, Tripp Copeland, Royce Copeland, and Cole Hubert; and brother, Jack Bailey of Nederland.

She is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and two sisters.

A gathering of Mrs. Hubert’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with her Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland, with her interment following at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Hubert’s memory to St. Mary Catholic Church Building Fund, 9894 Gilbert Road, Beaumont, Texas 77705.
