I love this man so much he was the nicest person I’ve ever met! I can remember when I was in pain one Saturday night I called him and I thought he would tell me to take some Advil and see him Monday but no not this dentist he came in on a sat night to get me out of pain. He was a family man and a great dentist he will truly be missed! When we met Mike in dental school he was one of those guys you knew you would become great friends with. He had such an infectious laugh you could not but have fun when you were around him. You could always tell he was in the room because someone was always laughing. Mike was someone you can count on or just hang out with all day. He loved watching movies especially comedies. Mike could always quote a line from a movie relating to the situation you were in. Even though he loved to laugh and have fun, his best quality was his devotion his family and friends. He was always talking about his sister and parents. We felt like we knew Katie before we ever met her. He was so proud of his baby sister. Mike had a tremendous amount of respect for his parents because of their love, work ethic and presence. While Mike had many accomplishments, he definitely saved his best for last. He helped create a beautiful family. Mike adored and cherished his two girls and wife and spoke of them constantly. When you were with the Olson's, you felt like a part of the family. Even though we are so saddened now at the thought of losing you, one day thinking of you will always make us laugh because of the great times we shared and for that we will always be grateful. Love, Sonya and Chaeho

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I went to SFA with Mike where we were both pre-dental in a program where most were pre-med. He never met a stranger and I can't remember a time when he didn't have a smile on his face. He was so excited about going to UT Houston Dental Branch and becoming a Dentist like his dad. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

David and Barbara, It is with great sorrow that heard of Michael's passing. What I remember most about Michael is his great smile. I used to see him on the Rice campus where he had been studying in the library. We would have a brief, but nice conversation about how his studies were going in dental school. No matter how much he felt stressed by the pressure, he seemed to always have that beautiful smile with him. I know that he will live on in the memories of his life that you share with family and friends for years to come.

Trisha Conner

In addition to my previous comment; My fondest memories of Micheal are the many times, when our friends got together during dental school, he would play the guitar and sing a song called “ Maria”, which I requested over and over again! Michael had so much love for his family and friends. He was full of joy and a zest for life. Micheal was loved so dearly by his friends, will he be greatly missed. ~Sonya

Dear Barbara and David, It is with sad hearts that we heard of Michael's passing. What a fine man he must have been; and a son that brought you great pride. Our hearts are truly with you and the family at this time. As soon as we saw his picture, it brought smiles to our faces: he is the perfect combination of you both (handsome and with those kind, sparkling eyes and genuine smile.) May God be with you and his family.
