Michael Lindsey, 63, died Saturday, August 11, 2018. He was born on September 18, 1954, in Anson, to Waldine Wallace Scott and Alton Eugene Lindsey.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Lindsey of Buna; children, Michelle Thompson of Port Neches; Shauna Lindsey of Port Arthur; Amber Webb and her husband, Joe, of Athens; and John Michael Lindsey of Mabank; mother, Waldine Wallace Scott; brothers, Tim Lindsey and Dr. James R. Scott; and grandchildren, Taylor Thompson, Tanner Thompson, Hannah Thompson, Kris Webb, Bethany Webb, Nick Webb, Joshua Webb, Bethany Wooten, and Michael Lindsey; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael is preceded in death by his step-father, John Henry Scott, Jr.; grandson, John Roger Lindsey; son-in-law, Chad Thompson; and step-brother, Dennis Scott.

A gathering of Mr. Lindsey’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. A private family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

My daddy was a great man with patience kindness and love that is so hard to find on this earth...
