Paul Foreman

Paul Howard Foreman, 61, of High Island, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Christus Dubuis Hospital, of Beaumont. He was born to Elsie Guidry and Ruel Foreman, on July 1, 1957, in Anahuac. Paul was a lifelong resident of High Island. He was a son, brother, uncle, nephew, father, grandpa and a great friend to many. Paul was a carpenter. He enjoyed building birdhouses, and many other crafts, spending time with his family, and teaching his grandkids some of his trade skills. 

 Survivors include his mother, Elsie Devers, of High Island; daughter, Paula Gamble and her husband, Clay, of High Island; son, Matthew Foreman and his wife, Sherry, of Houston; grandchildren, Austin, Melvin, Brandon, Olivia, and Allison Isaacks, Dustin, Emilea, and Hannah Gamble, Sarah Blair, Lilly and Conner Foreman; sister, Melody Wood and her husband, Tommy; and brother, Junior Foreman and his wife, Claudia, all of High Island; aunt, Cynthia Lancaster and her husband, John, of Missouri City; and uncles, Perry Foreman, of Winnie; Rodney Foreman, of Scotland; and Howard Guidry and his wife, Alice, of Fort Worth.

 He is preceded in death by his father; brothers, Donald Wayne Foreman, Joey Foreman, and Mark Foreman, and uncle, David Guidry.

Mr. Foreman’s memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church, 1308 Weeks Avenue, High Island, with a gathering of family and friends to follow. His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
