Raymond Loftin

Raymond Earl Loftin, 67, of Silsbee, died Thursday, January 10, 2019. He was born on March 19, 1951, in Houston, to Daisy Mae Green Loftin and Floyd Mason Loftin, Sr.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-four years, Myrtle Aline Loftin; children, Raymond Loftin, Jr. of Houston; Gwen Haynes and her husband, Thomas, of Silsbee; and Darrell Leviness and his wife, Trina, of Kirbyville; grandchildren, Natasha Guillen and her husband, William; Edwin Silas Smith; Cody Smith; Dylan Leviness; and Marrissa Leviness, all of Silsbee; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Guillen and Kyleigh Guillen; sister, Kathy Emmons of Conroe; brothers, Jimmy Busby of Spurger and David Busby of Silsbee; son-in-law, Edwin Dewayne Smith and his wife, Alisha, of Silsbee; daughter-in-law, Misty Horn of Silsbee; sister-in-law, Brenda Gore and her husband, Mark, of Honey Island; extended grandchildren, Ryan McCollum and Cheyenne Terrell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Justin Smith; brothers, Floyd Loftin, Jr. and Randy Busby; and sister, Diane Palmer.

A gathering of Raymond’s family and friends will be 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Sunday, January 13, 2019, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m., at Franks Branch Cemetery, Fred.
