Alan King Sr.

Alan King, Sr., 61, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, January 10, 2018. He was born on May 1, 1956, in Beaumont, to Elzora Pressley King and Marlin Eugene King, Sr.

Alan enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, watch cooking shows, and really enjoyed the TV show American Pickers.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa King, of LaBelle; son, Alan Dale King, Jr., and his wife, Alixandra, of Port Neches; daughter, Julie Ramirez and her husband, Mark, of Nederland; son, Cody King, of LaBelle; grandchildren, Aedan and Ava King, Avery and Aubriana Ramirez, Micah Ramirez, Zackary Ramirez; brother, Marlin King, Jr. and his wife, Dana, of Vidor; sister, Donna Cormicle and her husband, Wayne, of Woodville; and two beloved pets, Chloe and Hampton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Glenda King.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Michael Thomas, Dr. Nidal Buheis, and Dr. Michael Oz.

A gathering of Mr. King’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2018, at Broussard’s. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

    Rest in the arms of Jesus Mr. Alan. I remember the calm cool presence you had when I'm come to your house with my brother Cody. I can't say I knew you personally that well but I can day judging by Alan and Cody who's hearts are gold and next to none I'm sure they received that from you. Have fun in glory.
