Alton Jordan

Alton “BoBo” Jordan, 90, of Kountze, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018. He was born on January 15, 1928, in Kountze, to Virgie Creel Jordan and Ben Jordan. Alton proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors include his cousins, Peggy Hollier and her husband, Randy, of Nederland; Dodridge Devries and his wife, Jerry, of Poplarville, Mississippi; Clara Curtis and her husband, Steve, of San Antonio; and Susan Pfieffer of Katy; and a host of close friends and people he considered his family. He never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ver Ben Jordan.

A gathering of BoBo’s family and friends will be 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 5, 2018, at Broussard’s with his interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery.
