Arnold Armstrong

Arnold Armstrong, 75, of Silsbee, died Monday, September 2, 2019. He was born on October 16, 1943, in Galveston to Viola Reynolds Armstrong and Lloyd Thomas Armstrong. Arnold worked in accounting and the last ten years he was a roofing inspector for the state of Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Armstrong; stepdaughters, Amanda Orta and her husband, Gabe, of Friendswood and Christina Qualls and her husband, Greg, of League City; step granddaughter, Cecilia Orta; sisters-in-law, Lillian Armstrong of Lufkin and Fran Gallion and her husband, Paul Jr., of Wildwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Glen Armstrong; sister, Mary Allen; and nephew, Greg Farmer.

Arnold’s memorial mass will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 6, 2019, at Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 243 South LHS Drive, Lumberton. His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
