Arthur Lynn Hickman

February 22, 1948 - June 1, 2018

Arthur Lynn Hickman, 70, of Beauxart Gardens, died Friday, June 1, 2018. He was born on February 22, 1948, in Port Arthur, to Mary Lou Franke Hickman and William Dale Hickman, Sr.

Arthur taught History and Sociology at Liberty I.S.D. He later retired as a Maintenance Supervisor for Mustang Caterpillar Services. Arthur also enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include his wife of forty-seven years, Pamela Clough Hickman; daughter, Alyssa Ferrara and her husband, John; son, Jon I. Hickman and his wife, Helen; grandkids, Christina Ferrara and Jonas Ferrara; sister, Katherine Peek; brother, Randall Hickman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, William D. Hickman, Jr.

A memorial gathering for Mr. Hickman will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
