Barbara Turner

Barbara Anne Turner, 54, of Beaumont, died Thursday, June 27, 2019. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was born on April 10, 1965, to Billie Ernestine Cherry and Chester Major Ellison.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Danny Turner, of Beaumont; siblings, Patricia Ellison, of Beaumont; Susan Bowers, of Silsbee; Stewart Ellison and his wife, Sheila, of China; Nancy West and her husband, Sherman and Laura Alvarez and her husband, Joseph, of Beaumont; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and mother-in-law, Betty Turner, of Vidor.

She is preceded in death by her parents; many aunts and uncles; and father-in-law, Jack Turner.

Barbara enjoyed playing golf and adored her nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, Virginia 22202.
