Bertie Mae Williams

Bertie Mae Denard Williams, 84, of Silsbee, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017. She was born on June 12, 1932, in Bessie Mae to Mamie Marshall Tarver and Frank Tarver.

Bertie lived most her life in Silsbee. She was a friend to many and a very outgoing person. She loved going on vacations and visiting her friends and family. Bertie was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a great-great-grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her and she will be sorely missed.

Survivors include her son, Eddie Denard and his wife, Mary Ann, of Kingwood; daughter, Carolyn Denard of Silsbee; son, Paul Denard and his wife, Roberta, of Baytown; and son, Mark Denard and his wife, Sherry, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Donna Estes and her husband, Chad, of Conroe; William E. Denard Jr., and his wife, Kimberly; and Anne Marie Hoover and her husband, Kevin, all of Humble; Ryan Denard and his wife, Alyson, of Odessa; Drew Denard of Fort Worth; Sarah Settle and her husband, Tim; and Chelsea Denard, all of Baytown; Jeannene Jones of Beaumont; and Amanda Keeling of Silsbee; great-grandchildren, Daphne Estes, Taylor Denard, Noah, Jensen, Heidi, and Zane Settle, and Earl and Dusti Keeling; and one great-great-grandson, Kayden. She is preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Christine Denard.

A gathering of Bertie’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her service at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with her interment to follow at Antioch Cemetery, Buna.
