Betty came into my grandmother’s room and sang “happy birthday “ to her, by herself, the whole song, February 13. She was so sweet and always had a beautiful smile on her face.

Betty was such a gem. I spent time with her many times playing Bingo. She was very kind and loved to tell me stories about raising her children. Praying for her family and friends.

I had the honor of being one of Betty's first American friends, when she arrived in Kountze. So sweet and friendly. We had so much fun making Christmas items for my classroom. I visited with her several times, recently. So glad to have the memories of our visits and the times we laughed so hard about misunderstandings between English and American words.. She will be missed.

Those of us who attended church with Betty will miss her each and every Sunday for many, many years to come. I personally will miss her faithful prayers over any concern on my heart. She would regularly check with me on how those situations were and continue to pray for any remaining concerns. Betty was a very faithful friend that I will miss for years to come.

Truest an amazing woman who it was my pleasure to care for

I've known Betty for years through St. John's, but I was especially privileged to spend time with her in the last few months. She lived bravely and cheerfully during this time as she always had. She was pleased that the staff at Spanish Trails said she made that facility livelier. My condolences to Christopher and Richard.
