Carl Jordan

Carl Owen Jordan, 81, of Nederland, died Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at Christus Dubuis Hospital of Beaumont. He was born on October 9, 1937, in Chesapeake, West Virginia, to Katie Lillian Sheppard Jordan and Everett Astor Jordan.

Carl was an operator at Texas U. S. Chemical – Ameripol/Synpol. After retirement, he was a security guard at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Carl was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved all outdoor activities.

Survivors include his wife, Sally Jordan; son, Michael Jordan and his wife, Deborah; daughter, Sharon Jordan; stepson, Chris Broseh; grandchildren, Apryl Nguyen and her husband, Danny; Cody Jordan; Austin Broseh; Christian Broseh; David M. Jordan and his wife, Anna; and Lauren Jordan; and five great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son, David Jordan.

A gathering of Mr. Jordan’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 30, 2019, at Broussard’s, Nederland, with his interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
