Claude Augustus Ward, Jr., 98, of Winnie, died Thursday, April 16, 2020, at The Arboretum of Winnie. He was born on May 28, 1921, to Ara Ann Mann Ward and Claude Augustus Ward, Sr., in Canton, Texas.
Survivors include his sons, Kent Bradley Ward and his wife, Beth, of Frankston, and Lavelle Allen, of Cypress; grandchildren, Tara Ward Allen, Brent Ward, Bradley Ward, and Scott Ward; and numerous great-grandchildren and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife of his children, Margarete Ward; and second wife, Mary Burgess Ward.
Cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
