Hey old woman, I miss you so much but I am glad that you are finally at peace and no longer suffering. Thank you for being like a 2nd mother to a lot of us - it was appreciated more than it was shown. I love you!

Dearest Paul, Yolie, Cristy, Richard & the Tamayo Family, I am so very sorry for your loss! Cindy was a one-of-a-kind!!! I'll always remember singing with her & her guitar along with Yolie at St Anne in past years. She is now singing with a heavenly choir in perfect harmony!!! May her soul & all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace, Amen

To the Tamayo Family My love and prayers for God's peace and comfort to surround and uplift all of you during this sad time. Cindy was an awesome talented and beautiful woman. I will never forget how she coached us with our singing when we formed a choir at Cristo Rey, many years ago. Although that was not her home church, she was still willing to spend her time with us to get us "presentable", We practiced at Celina and Vicente's home until we made our debut at church. We sang our hearts outs and had many laughs. We were a degenerate choir just trying to sing for the Lord; out tune, off key and putting on our Michael Jackson glove for show! She coached us, taught us breathing techniques, how to hum, harmonize and even how to read music! She stepped up for Celina when we needed help, a sister helping a sister out. The others in the group were my mom and my two younger sisters. She got us "presentable" and we had an awesome little choir. I will always cherish this beautiful memory. Love you all!

What great memories I have of Cindy and will cherish them in my heart forever. Cindy and Celina were the sisters I never had. A wonderful life Cindy had here on Earth and now in Heaven with Our Heavenly Father. I will be unable to be with the Tamayo Family on Saturday but my deepest love and prayers to all of you. I will always remember the times Chris and I would bring our children over to the Family Home on Pecos and everyone would be in the kitchen singing and playing the guitar. There are so many memories and stories and they were all wonderful and some funny as can be. Cindy we celebrate your life for you are with us in our hearts and the memories we each have special that we all share with you. May God Bless all of the Family . Paul, you and your daughters were the world to your mother and I know she will always watch over all of you. Till we meet again my dear and loving Special Friend. Love, Kathryn & Chris Hinojosa, Sr. & Family

I'd always thought we'd have more time together and the fact that we don't is killing me inside . You were the best mom any son could ask for.

Michele Tamayo

Aunt Cindy!! You welcomed me and my girls and treated us like your own, You were there to help us when we were just getting on our feet when we moved to Texas. You were my go to whenever I needed to talk. A great listener you always made me laugh and you never judged! I will miss your laugh and your kindness. Until we meet again Rest easy ! We love you.
