Damien Duhon

December 24, 1944 - August 4, 2019

Damien Garrett Duhon, 74, of Port Arthur, died Sunday, August 4, 2019, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur. He was born on December 24, 1944, in Beaumont, to Mary Crites Duhon and Donald Duhon.

Damien was a Mason, United States Marine Corps veteran and Commander of Veterans of Foreign War. He worked as an electrician, and in his free time, Damien enjoyed fishing, shuffle board, traveling, spending time with his friends and riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Duhon, of Port Arthur; sons, Damien G. Duhon, Jr. and his wife, Christina and William P. Duhon and his wife, Angela, both of Austin; half-brother, John Crites; stepchildren, Michael Lozano, Kristal Dugas, April Lozano and Stephany Long; and grandchildren, Annabella and Damien Duhon III and Emma and Nathaniel Duhon.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His inurnment will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at Houston National Cemetery, Houston.
