Daniela Tovar-Gomez

January 26, 2008 - January 9, 2020

Daniela Tovar-Gomez, 11, of Beaumont, died Thursday, January 9, 2020. She was born to Nayeli Yuritzi Gomez-Trejo and Ricardo Salvador Tovar-Silos on January 26, 2008, in Monterrey, Mexico.

After Daniela was diagnosed with a brain tumor in February of 2019, she never lost her spirit. During the eleven-month battle with the disease, she experienced a personal encounter with Jesus. Daniela was a very active kid who loved to dance and swim during the summer. She had a great sense of humor, a very contagious laugh, and was a very caring sister.

She is survived by her father, Ricardo Tovar; mother, Nayeli Gomez; sisters, Gabriela Tovar-Gomez and Isabella Tovar-Gomez, all of Beaumont; grandparents, Ricardo Tovar; Carmen Silos; José Luis Llanos; and Rosario Trejo, all of Monterrey, Mexico; aunt, Keren Tovar, of Monterrey, Mexico; and uncles, Miguel Tovar, of Houston and José Carlos Gomez and his wife, Teresa, of Dumfries, Virginia.

Lifting you all in prayer as you face this difficult time. Daniela was a pleasure to have as a student and cheerleader. She was a very smart and outgoing student, always ready to learn and ask questions. She was always smiling and full of love. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We don't always understand why God chooses the young, but one thing is for sure, she was an Angel and he needed her back. She is no longer suffering, in pain and she is now living her true life with our Lord above in a paradise. Feel comfort in knowing we will all be together one day in his paradise. I will continue to pray for you all.

So sorry for your loss
