Dollie Hollyfield, 70, of Silsbee, died Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Pine Arbor Nursing Home, Silsbee. She was born on November 26, 1946, in Fred, to Maudie Peterson and John Roe Jenkins.

Dollie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved her family. Dollie always welcomed her nieces and nephews, who all called her “Aunt Doh Doh”, and was famous for her hot water cornbread and dumplings. She will be greatly missed by all.

Survivors include her son, John Phillip Hollyfield of Silsbee; daughter-in-law, Margaret Hollyfield; brothers, Bud Jenkins and his wife, Nervey, of Fred; Hank Jenkins and his wife, Eloise, of Town Bluff; Monroe Jenkins of Silsbee; and Steve Harville of Fred; sister, Thelma “Tootie” Starke Clowers and her husband, Jimmy, of Fred; grandchildren, Tabitha Thurston and her husband, Chris, of Lumberton; Logan Hollyfield of Evadale; and Adrian, Coy, and Landen Hollyfield, all of Silsbee; great-granddaughter, Zoey Hollyfield of Evadale; special friend, Herbert McGallion; and a host of numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, William Hollyfield; sisters, Addie “Tiny” Wilson and Ruthie Fregia; and brothers, Robert Pete, Bill, and Hill Jenkins.

A gathering of Mrs. Hollyfield’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Franks Branch Cemetery, Fred.
