Dominga “Dee” Gracia

Dominga “Dee” Gracia, 91, of Vidor, died Monday, March 12, 2018. She was born in Beaumont, on January 23, 1927 to Paula Guadiano Guerrero and Isidro Guerrero. “Dee” was a lifelong resident of the area.

Survivors include daughters, Sylvia Downs and her husband, Virgil, Sr.; Annette Marshall and her husband, Charles, Sr.; son, Johnnie Gracia, Jr.; grandchildren, Stephanie Thibodeaux and her husband, Brad; Michelle Anderson; Stacey Tatum and her husband, Trey; Virgil Downs, Jr, and his wife, Krystle; Billy John Downs and his wife, Katie; Charles Marshall, Jr.; and Tana Marshall; great-grandchildren, Bailey Rogers, Aniston Tatum, A.J. Tatum, Eneas Anderson-Escalante; Easton Downs, Addison Downs, Skylar Armstrong, Kenedee Richard, Kaden Richard, Bridgette Evick; siblings, Isidro “Butch” Guerrero and Raymond Gutierrez; Paula Guajardo, Margiret Ramirez, Olivia “Levy” Ramirez and Richard Gutierrez; numerous nieces; nephews; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Johnnie Gracia, Sr.; sisters, Julia Guerrero and Goya Guerrero-Vargas; and brothers, Johnnie Gutierrez and Manuel Gutierrez.

A gathering of Mrs. Gracia’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Broussard’s Chapel, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A second gathering of Mrs. Gracia’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2018, at Broussard’s Chapel, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1600 North Main, Vidor. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, Nederland.
