Donald Gene Cribbs

June 29, 1928 - February 17, 2019

Donald Gene Cribbs, 90, of Nederland, died Sunday, February 17, 2019. He was born on June 29, 1928, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Madgie May McCall Cribbs and Ross Cribbs.

Donald was a United States Army veteran. He was a member of the NRA and was a gun enthusiast. Donald enjoyed the outdoors and fishing.

Survivors include his daughter, Donna Clifton and her husband, Fred, of Nederland; and grandson, Kellen Clifton of Dallas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Eve Krueger Cribbs.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice and April’s House of Angels for the care that was given to Donald.

A gathering of Mr. Cribbs’ family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2019, at Broussard’s, Nederland, with his entombment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.

Donna, we sure will miss our wonderful neighbor and friend. It will be so different looking out and not seeing Don in his yard or talking with him too. We are thankful he isn’t suffering anymore and has been reunited with the love of his life and beautiful wife Eve.
