Bob was a wonderful father in law.. He always had kind words for me. I once told him I could only hope to be the father in law that he was for me. He smiled and gave me a hug. I hope he knew I was serious.

Dr. Gay was my test and measurement psychology professor at Lamar University many years ago, He later became a personal friend as his sweet wife Beth and I became close friends. I am so very sorry that Beth and his family are facing this loss so unexpectedly. He was a lovely man and he and Beth were so sweet together when they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Rest in peace.

The last time I saw Dr. Bob, he gave me a big hug, more than I thought I deserved. As I have told so many of his patients in the past two weeks that he is gone from our sight, I have realized that the hug was for me to pass along to them. So many have told me what a kind and gentle man he was and some have said that they feel like they have lost their best friend. I agree! I worked with him when he first came to Carousel and he immediately won my admiration and respect. We have also talked in the last two weeks about how he automatically engendered trust to all who knew him. We will miss him and think of him often. His patients have asked me to relay their kindest sympathies to family and friends. May God bless you and give you comfort in the days ahead.

Here it is one year after Dr. Bob died and I am just now hearing about his death.. I am so sorry. I was an EAP (Employee Advisory Person)) for GSU. With Dr. Bob's guidance I was able to help many GSU employees and family members with problems. He was an awesome doctor and deeply cared about people. He had my utter respect. May he rest in peace. Prayers for his family.
