Eddie Lou Hall

Eddie Lou Hall, 87, of Beaumont, died Saturday, May 6, 2017. She was born in, Brunson, to Edna Horton and Thomas Morris, and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont. She was a retired cafeteria worker from Piccadilly and co-owner of Hall-McSweens.

Eddie Lou raised many nieces and nephews from the Morris and Hall families. We called her Lou-Lou.

Survivors include her sister, Verlean Cartwright, of San Augustine; and guardian/niece, Brenda Comeaux-Longnion and her husband, John, of Village Mills.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles “CA” Hall; brothers, Willie Morris, LeRoy Morris, and Tom Morris; four sisters, Allie Strickland, Lennie Harvey, A.B. Adair, and Maxine Bass.

A gathering of Mrs. Hall’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2017, at Broussard’s, with her interment for follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
