Everett Linscomb, Sr.

December 26, 1937 - May 26, 2018

Everett James Linscomb, Sr., 80, of Fred, died Saturday, May 26, 2018, suddenly at his home with his wife of sixty years by his side. He was born on December 26, 1937, in Galveston, Texas, to Edward Lyle Linscomb and Mildred Mable Holloman Linscomb. Everett was retired from the BISD transportation department after thirty-five years. He then delivered heavy equipment to job sites.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Perry Linscomb; children, Lois Kucera and her husband, Mark, of Lumberton; Everett James Linscomb, Jr. and his wife, Marinell, of Beaumont; Sharon Wilkerson and her husband, Carl, of Nederland; and Betty Linscomb and her partner, Mark Carreker, of Nederland; grandchildren, Leigha Kucera, Megan Kucera, and Matthew Kucera, all of Beaumont, Courtny Conder, Jasmine Wilkerson, and James Wilkerson, all of Nederland, and Dustin Linscomb of Utah, and Josh Wilkerson and his wife, Cynthia and Carl Wilkerson, all of Alto; great-grandchildren, Sydney Linscomb of Utah, Savanna Walzel of Beaumont, Bladen Metts of Lumberton, Elijah Conder of Nederland, Sylvi Kucera of Beaumont; Dakota, Cheyenne, and Ryder Wilkerson of Alto; and Carl Wilkerson of Nacogdoches.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Walter, Gilbert, and Ray.

A gathering of Mr. Linscomb’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
