Freddie Ray Hargraves, 82, of Winnie, died Tuesday, July 2, 2019. He was born on July 13, 1936, to Lucille Bertrand Hargraves and Roger Hargraves, in High Island.

Survivors include his wife, Sheri Hargraves; children, Donna Gauthreaux and her husband, Robert, of Winnie; Stephanie Hargraves of Chireno; Deborah Miller and Becky Bergeron and her husband, Silton, all of Vidor; and David Hargraves and his wife, Belinda, of Sulphur, Louisiana; grandchildren, Chrissy Leger and her husband, Joe, of Sour Lake; Jessica Gauthreaux and her spouse, Alex, of Lumberton; Jerad Ridgaway of Orange; Brandy Foote; Katie Perry and her husband, Trent; and Blake Bergeron and his wife, Alyssa, all of Vidor, Adam Miller of Nacogdoches; Brian Miller of Vidor; Brittany Fulfer and her husband, Justin, of Orange; Clint Hargraves and his wife, Hannah, of Sulphur; and Tonia Amos and her husband, Josh, of Winnie; twenty great-grandchildren; and siblings, Danny Hargraves of Vidor and Opal Broussard of Jennings.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gertrude Stuckey.

A gathering of Mr. Hargraves’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2019, at Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, Vidor. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, 1085 West Freeway Boulevard South, Vidor. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
