Glenda was a Dear Friend, she always invited my son Dean and I over for Sunday dinner and sometimes a swim. She had countless birthdays celebration at her house, she loved all the kids that would come over. She always supported her family, church and friends. She was very giving, selfless and encouraging. I wish we had spent more time together lately. But, I always enjoyed her smile and her love, She will be Missed. See you on the other side My Sister. Love to the Boys, Tommy, Terry and Tod. from Lynne, Pat and Terri Buckner

Sending lot's of prayers to this family. I have worked with Todd at Path for over 10 years and have grown to love his boy's Jadan and Skylar. May God hold you and give you peace and strength during this time. Your mom is definitely proud of the man she raised. Many blessings to you all.

Glenda was a special lady and a special friend during the many years we spent at Seventh Street Baptist Church. Glenda loved her Lord, family and church. She often offered words of encouragement to me or we would exchange remarks to make each other laugh. Glenda was also a good cook. I always looked for her food or dessert at the church dinners. These precious memories do not express all the blessings Glenda has been to me and our family. We will deeply miss her. Our love and prayers go to Thom, Terry, Todd and all the family.

Ms. Glenda was one of my favorite co-workers at Lamar. She slways gave me "motherly" advice and always had a smile on her face. My thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone missing Ms. Glenda today. My joy and smiles are with her as I know she loved the Lord. It was an honor to work with Glenda at Lamar University. She and I shared a birthday and she will forever be my birthday twin. I will miss you Ms. Glenda.

Sending my heart felt condolences. Your mom, and my mom,2 peas in a pod. Laughed and giggled and enjoyed life. Prayer partners...... for their families, children and grandchildren, and prayed often for their church family,, and the needs in the community. I know your loss,, still not used to my mom being gone.. Can't say it gets easier,, but the comfort comes from knowing without a doubt that they are with the Lord, and I'm sure some angel has been assigned to the two of them.. "You ladies quite giggling in the back row.." ...and your mother will give one of her Famous smiles.. Pat Pylate will be pointing at your mom saying ...its her.......Your mom loved you boys.....she was so proud of each of you. Your in my prayers.

Thom, Terry and Todd, I am sorry to hear about your mom. What a great lady. She always asked me how I was doing and always had a smile for me. I know that all of you had a rough time after your dad passed away and your mom kept yall in church and kept pushing on. She was strong in her faith in God to see her family through. Going on is so difficult and I can relate. Be there for each other, encourage each other and stand by each other no matter what this life brings.I will continue to pray for you and know how much God loves you and wants you to have joy, peace and prosperity that only he can give...
