Gordon Alpha, Sr.

Gordon Alpha, Sr., 88, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on November 10, 1929, to Kathleen Boudreaux Alpha and David Wilcox Alpha.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Helen Alpha; children, Toni Border, of Alpine; Gordon Alpha, Jr. and his wife, Marci, of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and Melody Fazio and her husband, Sam, of Lumberton; grandchildren, Zach Border and his wife, Tricia of Alpine, Joshua Border, of Dallas, Jeremy Cook, of Knoxville, Tennessee, Aaron Alpha and his wife, Laura and Gordy Alpha, both of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Jessica Fazio, of Houston; great-grandchildren, Aiden Border of Alpine and Alyvia Alpha and Victoria Alpha, both of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and sister, Jennifer Kimball.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kathleen Harrop; brother, David M. Alpha; and daughter, Piper Cook.

A gathering of Mr. Alpha’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with his memorial service to follow at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2018, at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 4090 Delaware Street, Beaumont. A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

The family would like for everyone to join them in the Broce Hall for a reception following the service.
