Helen Doris Haven

Helen Doris Haven, 86, of Nederland, died Thursday, November 12, 2020. She was born May 2, 1934, in Kaufman County, Texas.

Helen was a faithful member of Mid County Church of Christ, Port Neches; attending church was very important to her. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and quilting. Helen also loved flowers. Most of all, she cherished her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Hemby, of Nederland; grandchildren, Alicia Pierce and husband, Steven, of Woodville; Paula Daigle, of Nederland; and Chris Rauwerda and wife, Ashley, of Hillister; and great-grandchildren, Jeremy; Chloe; Carley; and Garrett.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Haven; brother, Wayne Allen; and daughter, Regina Sonnier.

A gathering of Mrs. Haven’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 15, 2020, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 16, 2020, at Elm Grove Cemetery, CR 2708, Mabank, Texas.
