Isaac Morris Prejean

Isaac Morris Prejean, 87, of Winnie, died Monday, January 13, 2020, at Mid Jefferson Extended Care Hospital, Nederland. He was born on May 18, 1932, to Noeline Breaux Prejean and Isaac Prejean, in Crowley, Louisiana. Isaac was a rice farmer in the Winnie area for most of his life.

Survivors include his daughter, Pat Williams and her husband, Joe; sons, Scott Prejean and Jason Prejean and his wife, Charlene; and daughter, Shelia Adamson, all of Winnie; grandchildren, Brandon Williams, of Florida; Lezlie Parish; and Jennifer Rosado and her husband, Zach, both of Huntsville; Brock Williams, of Winnie; Sean Prejean, of Beaumont; Landon Prejean, of Fannett; and Alaina Potter, of Winnie; and great-grandchildren, Maci Parish, Lexi Parish, Braxton Rosado, and Cale Rosado, all of Huntsville, and Maddie Prejean, of Bridge City.

He is preceded in death by wife, Edwina Prejean; and son, Don Prejean.

A gathering of Mr. Prejean’s family and friends will begin at 12:30 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 1:30 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2020, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
