James “Kenny” Collins

May 20, 1964 - August 27, 2019

James Kenneth “Kenny” Collins, 55, of Port Neches, died Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. He was born May 20, 1964, in Newton, to Mary Margaret Rickenbrode Collins and Peter Neil Collins.

Kenny was an avid reader and history buff. He enjoyed spending time with the kids and talking politics and history with whoever would listen, especially, his best friend, Jason Cooper, of Austin.

He is survived by wife, Erin Collins; stepson, Seth Ardillo; stepdaughter, Cassidy Ardillo, all of Port Neches; sister, Christy Roach, of Lufkin; brothers, Paul Collins, of Newton and Patrick Collins of Houston; sister-in-law, Olivia Blair, of Houston; and mother-in-law, Linda Lisenby.

Preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Pete Collins; and brother, Kevin Collins.

A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
