JANICE CORNELIUS

Janice “Jan” Marie Cornelius, 76, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at Silsbee Oaks Health Care. She was born on January 18, 1943, in Abilene, to Ima Ruth Carter Griffing and William Kinslow Griffing.

Survivors include her husband, Ken Cornelius; son, Kenneth Glen Cornelius and his wife, Amy, of Chattanooga, Tennessee; daughter, Deborah Jan O’Conner and her husband, Robbie, of Polson Montana; sister, Sandy Ragland and her husband, Jack, of Lockney, Texas; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.Jan is preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Betty Griffing and Bessie Elder.

A memorial service for Mrs. Cornelius’ family and friends will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
