John Regan Wyble

August 27, 1998 - April 27, 2020

John Regan Wyble, 21, of Nederland, died Monday, April 27, 2020. He was born on August 27, 1998, in Port Arthur, to Angela Carol Dismukes Wyble and Chad Regan Wyble.

John is remembered by family and friends as an extremely kind-hearted young man with a desire to love deeply. While he did not always feel this deep love for himself, he was at his happiest when he was serving those in need. John had an innate ability to empathize with those who struggled, bringing comfort to them by bearing their weight on his own heart. His caring soul deeply touched those around him. Although John was one of simple words, his ability to speak volumes was shown through the power of his hugs. He was a lover of animals and felt most at peace when caring for his two dogs, Champ and Duck.

Survivors include his parents; maternal grandmother, Marjorie D. Carter, of Beaumont; paternal grandparents, Donald and Helen Wyble, of Nederland; brothers, Austin Scott Wyble and his wife, Kimee, of Lewisville and Adam Richard Wyble, of Nashville, Tennessee; uncles, Mark Wyble and his wife, Buddy; Kirk Wyble and his wife, Leslie; Rick Wyble and his wife, Danna; Richard Dismukes and his wife, Betty; James Dismukes and his wife, Rhonda; and Daniel Dismukes; aunt, Rebecca Seaux and her husband, Michael; and numerous extended cousins and family.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Fuller Dismukes and step-grandfather, Gus Rybak.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family will have a gathering on Friday, with a graveside service 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2020, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches, officiated by Reverend Monsignor Dan Malain. For those that would like to attend the graveside service, please meet at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland, prior to 1:30 p.m., to line up for an escorted procession to Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Upon arrival at the gravesite, please stay in your cars. We will have a radio frequency that you can tune into in order to hear the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77705; or to National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, 50 Broadway, New York City, New York 10004.

I only knew John for a short amount of time. We went to college together at LIT. He was a great guy and wish I would’ve gotten to know him better. Wish my condolences to the family and friends.

James Capo

I just wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss. I was a friend of Johns and went to LIT with him. He was always helpful and willing to lend a hand with drawings. He always told us “see y’all tomorrow” in the parking lot and I will miss that. He was a good guy and will be missed dearly.

Chad & Angie and family - I am so very sorry to have learned about John's passing. I barely remember meeting him when he was a little tyke, but I do remember he was a cute and lively little fellow who, like his brothers, kept Aunt Margie on her toes! Words can't even come close to healing your hearts, but I know God's love and peace can. May you lean in to Him for that as long as you need it! Love y'all!

John was a classmate at Nederland. Quiet and wonderful friend. You’re dearly missed, John.

Micky MItchell

John was in Drafting classes with a good group of people. He mostly kept to himself until he opened up this semester, right before the COVID quarantine. He was making jokes and even helped me get past a point I was stuck at. The drafting group, DETO, and I all really enjoyed his company. I am so sorry that the world has lost such a genuine, caring young man. I think, as a LIT group, we would like to consider making a plaque for him to hang in the department if we can. He was a good guy. I am so sorry for your loss.

To all the family and friends of John, We send our prayers and condolences to you. May God grant you strength and peace in this very difficult time. Linda and Jimmy Cole
