Johnny Doré

Johnny Doré, 87, of Mauriceville, died Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Calder Woods, Beaumont. He was born March 24, 1931, in New Iberia, Louisiana, to Lena Romero and Joseph Doré. He was a United States Marine veteran.

Survivors include his four children, Lynn Flanagan and her husband, Mark, of The Woodlands; Nell Street and her husband, Jim, of Nederland; Joe Doré, of Beaumont; and Johnny Doré, of Warren, Michigan; sister, Nancy Byron, of Nederland; grandchildren, Mason Street and his wife, Lauren; Landon Delage and his wife, Courtney; and Brian Flanagan; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Liz Doré; and two sisters.

A gathering of Mr. Doré’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 21, 2018, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
