To my Brother in Arms. A man who always tried to do the right thing. Even if it was extremely hard and liable to get you cut off at the knees. He loved his Family and loved his friends and he would tell you so.

If John was your friend, he was your best friend. If you were a lady, he treated you like the Queen of England. He believed in fair play above all else and would also let you know if you weren't playing fair. He never talked behind your back, so no matter what, you always knew where you stood with him.. I wish more people were a little like John. I am proud to count John among my best friends. RIP

Johnny could always bring a smile to your face when you talked to him. I last saw him at our August Police Retiree's Luncheon at Cheddar's. A great friend and true police officer who lit up the room when he walked in.
