Levoid Davis

October 27, 1927 - July 9, 2018

Levoid Clinton Davis, 90, of Nederland, died Monday, July 9, 2018. He was born on October 27, 1927, in Ruby, South Carolina, to Catherine Juanita Sellers Davis and David Clinton Davis. Levoid served in the United States Military during World War II and the Korean War.

Survivors include his children, David Davis of Austin; Timothy Davis and his spouse, Nathan Hejl, of Dallas; Dawn Wolgast and her spouse, Max, of Nederland; and Desari Roddy of Port Neches; grandchildren, Victoria Jones and her spouse, Eric, Justin LeBlanc, Maegan LeBlanc, Peyton Forse, Lindsey Wolgast, Lacey Wolgast, Wesley Wolgast, Russell Emmert, Asher Davis Hejl, and Charlotte Davis Hejl; and great-grandchildren, Kelbi LeBlanc, Jude LeBlanc, Russy Emmert, Laithen Emmert, William Wolgast Alexander, and George Wolgast Alexander.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one sister.

A memorial service for Mr. Davis’ will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

So sorry about your loss. I worked with Lavoid for several years at the Port Neches Post Office. I have such fond memories of Lavoid. He was such an opptamist and always had a smile. So sorry to hear about his passing. Prayers to his family.
