Marcella Ruppert

Marcella Louise Ruppert, 69, of Beaumont, died Sunday, May 27, 2018. She was born on December 3, 1948, in Port Arthur, to Jessie Mae Shaunn Lange and Felix Victor Lange.

Survivors include her husband, John Ruppert, Jr. of Beaumont; sons, James Barnes and his wife, Flora, of Port Arthur; David Dober of Port Arthur; Scott Gould and his wife, Monica, of New Braunfels; Andrew Gould and his wife, Shelby, of Cleveland; and Michael Gould of Frisco; daughter, Allison Cashat of San Antonio; step-children, Frank Kimbrell and his wife, Yalin, of Cypress; Tracey Atwood of Houston; Tiffany Bryant and her husband, Kobina, of Houston; and Angie Wheeler and her husband, Josh, of Katy; sisters, Evelynn Meaux and Jessie Day and her husband, David; brothers, Ronnie Lockley and Richard Tompkins; eighteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Walter “Bumpsey” Lange, and her sister Betty Smith.

A gathering of Mrs. Ruppert’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A private family graveside service will be held at a later time at Houston National Cemetery, Houston.
