Marion Wilson

Marion Edward “Eddie” Wilson, 71, of Silsbee, died Thursday, July 11, 2019. Eddie proudly serviced his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era.

Survivors include his wife, Marvel Wilson; children, Reverend Royce Wilson and his wife, Deanne, of Bothell Washington; and Larry Poe and his wife, Tammy of Lumberton; grandchildren, Mackenzie Wilson, Zachary Wilson, Sydney Wilson, and Derreck Poe; great-grandchild, Wyatt Poe; and an aunt, who he honored and loved very much, Dot Coleman of Houston. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of Eddie’s family and friends will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Monday, July 15, 2019, at Parkway Life Church, 1865 FM 3513, Lumberton, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at the church, with his interment to follow at Leatherwood Cemetery, Lumberton.
