Nelda Premeaux

July 5, 1934 - June 23, 2018

Nelda Premeaux, 83, of Nederland, died Saturday, June 23, 2018. She was born on July 5, 1934, in Center, to Robbie and Jud Hughes.

Survivors include her step-son, Joey Broussard; sister, Lou Ellen Permenter and her husband, Richard, of Magnolia; and brother, J.E. Hughes of Houston; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; devoted friend and caregiver, Stephanie Johnson; five nieces; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rayfus Premeaux; and brother, Charles Hughes.

A gathering of Mrs. Premeaux’s family and friends will be 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 25, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, 3098 U.S. 69 Access Road, Nederland.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Premeaux’s memory to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3324 Park Drive, Nederland, Texas 77627.
