Pearly Guillory, Sr.
Pearly Guillory, Sr., 86, formerly of Houston, died Tuesday, February 20, 2018. A native of Ville Platte, Louisiana, he moved to Texas as a young man and had worked as a construction carpenter and driver throughout Southeast Texas.
Pearly is survived by his sons, Pearly “Butch” Guillory, Jr., and his wife, Donna, of Port Arthur; David E. Guillory and his wife, Linda, of Beaumont; and Raymond Guillory and his wife, Donna, of Bridge City; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dianne; his brother; three sisters; and his grandson.
No public services are scheduled at this time.

My favorite memory was when we lived in Longview (I think) . We went to his office and when he came outside I went running to him. He knelt down and caught me in a big hug. That's how I choose to remember him.
