Peter Cammareri, Sr.
Peter “Pete” Joseph Cammareri, Sr., 78, of Winnie, died March 31, 2019. He was born on November 12, 1940, in Port Arthur, to Angeline Ceramie Cammareri and Anthony Cammareri.
Pete graduated in 1960 from East Chambers High School. He served as a volunteer for the Winnie-Stowell Volunteer Fire Department. Pete started his business, Winnie Radiator, in 1964 and opened Cammareri Mini Storage in 1978. He retired in 2005. His passions were hunting, fishing, and working in his garden.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Lorena Cammareri; son, Peter Cammareri, Jr.; and daughter, Suzanne Cammareri, all of Winnie. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
