Rhona Dore
Rhona Rose Dore, 86, of Port Arthur, died Friday, August 2, 2019, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur. She was born on January 15, 1933, to Ardelia Geoffrey and Horace Paul Girouard.
Survivors include her daughter, Sabrina King, of Port Arthur; granddaughter, Lauren Brekel and her husband, Remington and great-grandson, Remington Brekel II, all of Beaumont; sister, Audrey Foreman and her husband, A.J., of Nederland; brother, Leon Girouard and his wife, Juanita, of Nederland; and several special nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willis Paul Dore; infant boys, Jace Paul Dore and Gerard Paul Dore; and brother, Murphy “Tech” Dugas.
A gathering of Mrs. Dore’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2019, at St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church, 6412 Garnet Avenue, Port Arthur, with her interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
The family would like to thank the children of Curtis and Pat Hebert for their love.
