Richard James Parish, 55, of Kountze, died Monday, March 11, 2019. He was born on August 31, 1963, in Glendale, Arizona, to Sharon Elaine Parker and William Richard Parish. Richard was a United States Navy veteran.

Survivors include his children, Levi Parish and his husband, James and Ryan Parish and his wife, Dionne, all of Beaumont; father, Bill Parish, of Kountze; brother, Gary Parish and his wife, Shawna, of Surprise; former wife, Cynthia Parish; and former mother-in-law, Jacky Wilkerson, both of Beaumont; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Parish; and his brothers, David Parish and Levi Parish.

A gathering of Mr. Parish’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Grace Church, North 1103 Highway 69, Kountze. His interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.
